I just made what a YouTube lady called depression salad. 1/2 small cabbage, one cucumber, two medium carrots, one medium red onion, and 4 sticks of celery – ribs peeled with a peeler to remove strings. Slice all thinly. Make dressing of 1 cup oil, one cup vinegar -I used red wine b/c I had it, half tsp onion powder and same garlic powder and 1/4 cup sugar. Bit of salt to taste. Mix the dry in 1/2 cup warm water till sugar dissolves. Mix all well- adjust to taste. I put in a big glass jar in the fridge. I have had 4 servings and still many more to go. It is healthy, yummy and great to cut any greasy food you eat with it like fried fish or BBQ ribs etc. 👍 cheap too.
